Promotions

Agreed that we were promoting the choir to attract concert-goers. We were not in the business of recruitment, though we weren’t against it either.
Must get rid of CDs.
Having slept since the meeting, it feels like each choir event/concert needs a little planning and coordination with other people’s efforts to promote and sell things.
  • Cornwall – selling merchandise
  • Hepworth – flyer distribution (?before and during), selling m. (Sheila Walker and others)
  • Oct Town Hall – promoting concert and selling m. – for example a Holmfirth market stall
  • Open night – flyer distribution (?before and during), selling m.

Friends – promoting whenever there is an opportunity

Supported by flyers and brochures, articles in Holme Valley Review
Dave to supply a generic brochure into which a sheet can be inserted (merchandise, diary, friends application form)
next meet 30th April 5.00 Chez Coombes
